Disclaimer: Camp Bayou is first and foremost a
nature preserve. These 160 acres are saved for
Florida's native flora and fauna. These include
creatures that often concern some folks- spiders,
snakes, etc., although the biggest dangers are
generally feral hogs, fire ants and poison ivy.
Be aware that there is a certain amount of 'wild'
here and it is very important that you remain
observant and use a good dose of common sense
while out on the trails without a guide.
